The Nottingham Open Tennis Tournament

On Wednesday 21st June, all of Key Stage Two spent the day at the Nottingham Tennis Centre,during the Wimbledon warm up in the 'Nottingham Open' Mens Tennis Championship
The day was split into several events. The first of which was to view the start of a tennis match, featuring two well known tennis stars.
The children sat in quiet awe at the match and stayed for three games before moving onto the interschool championship.
Last year we won the competition (see the report on the Tennis '99 page), and so we thought it would be nice to let another school have a chance this year.
We even had a laugh at the teacher pro-celebrity football match.
After lunch it was aerobics,
Before moving onto the tennis coaching
Finally it was time to leave, and return to school with faces freshly painted !!!
