Watching the professionals play

Every year, in the week before Wimbledon, Nottingham stages the Nottingham Samsung Mens Tennis Open - and big name stars arrive to battle their way to the final.

Once again Greg Rusedski was competing and hoping to win the title, along with many other top name tennis stars.

Years 4, 5 and 6 all went to the Tennis Centre this year - on a glorious summer day with blue sky and the sun shining down. Reports of the day can be found in the latest issue of the school newspaper from July '03.
