Film Synopsis

Tony is an eight-year-old American boy. He moves to Scotland with his mother and father while his father builds a golf course at the local Stately home. He has nightmares about Vampires and a stone that can send a beam of light to the comet of lost souls.
In his new house in he suddenly finds a bat flying into his room. The bat hides in the fireplace and becomes a small boy - called Rudolph.
Rudolph, the Little Vampire, tries to bite Tony, then jumps out of the window, but is too weak to fly and falls to the ground. Tony rushes out to help the Little Vampire and they become friends.
After drinking the blood of a cow, Rudolph takes Tony for a flight through the night sky, then returns to Tony's bedroom and sleeps in the chest at the bottom of Tony's bed.
At school two classmates bully Tony. He tells Rudolph, and that night they scare the two bullies into thinking that Tony is a Vampire.
Tony meets Rudolph's family underneath the local graveyard. Rudolph's father tries to bite Tony, but then lets him stay when Rookery the Vampire Hunter arrives.
Tony finds out that the Vampires are trying to find the amulet that will help them to reach the comet of lost souls, and helps them to look for it. He has a vision and then knows where it is hidden.
Tony and Rudolph find the amulet underneath the floorboards in Tony's bedroom, but then Rookery kidnaps Tony and puts him in his truck.
Rudolph gets help from the Vampire Cows, who fly towards the truck and start pooing on the windscreen. Tony takes the amulet from the truck, and Tony and Rudolph meet the other Vampires on the edge of a cliff. Rudolph's father sends a beam of light from the amulet to the comet, but Rookery arrives and stops them for a moment. Tony gets the amulet and points it towards the comet. He makes a wish, and then all the Vampires vanish.
The film ends with Tony watching a family move into a new house. A family with ordinary, but very familiar looking children.
