A Child Centred Education Project
.
One of our themes during the year has been Elephants. The children have really enjoyed finding out about elephants and created some beautiful artwork too.

A. drew Elmer with chalk and coloured him with pastels.

This elephant was painted by J. using grey, black and white paint onto black sugar paper.

Elmer was a collage using a wide variety of materials. He used was made by the whole group who enjoyed finding words to describe his different patchwork squares.

A. and S. painted these elephants using grey, black and white paint onto white paper and black sugar paper.

This Elmer was made from tissue paper and PVA glue. J. then cut out the Elmer shape and stuck the two together to produce a beautiful stained glass window.

Other Art Work

During our 'growth' project the children produced some beautiful still life pictures of Daffodils.

After our Schools' trips, the children painted pictures of things they might see in the town and in the countryside.
