THE MAGIC SPELL
Once there was a magician who didn’t know what to do. He sat around being boring all day long. In the morning a letter came through the door it was for Merlyn the magician.
Merlyn opened it up there was going to be a competition next Thursday Merlyn couldn’t wait. The competition was for whoever made the best magic spell.
Merlyn started straight away on his magic spell. Merlyn got tired he said "I will finish it in the morning", so he went upstairs to get some relaxing sleep.
Morning came and Merlyn set to work on his spell. Merlyn decided to make a spell which would make people invisible. At last Merlyn had finished he tried his spell out on his dog Whizzer. Merlyn shouted "hurray! My spell works it actually works". He couldn’t wait for the competition.
The week past very quickly and the day of the competition arrived. Merlyn was shaking with excitement. Finally he arrived at the competition all of the other magicians were there with their spells and potions. They looked very calm to Merlyn. Suddenly the competition started, the magicians handed in their spells and potions to the judges. It was half an hour till the judges gave the results.
Merlyns result came last he thought that he was going to lose. But he didn’t he came first Merlyn got ten points. Merlyn got a gold cup he was very pleased of his self. Merlyn spent an hour every day polishing his cup and he was never bored again.
