The missing animals

Jimmy and Sue were taken to the countryside for a day. They were happy that they were in the countryside because there friend, Old Joe the farmer, would be there for them to talk too.
Jimmy and Sue went for a walk around. They fed the horses, they milked the cows, then they were very tired so they all had a little drink then went to sleep. An hour later they woke up and went to see how the animals were getting on. They soon realised that the horses and cows had got out of the field and ran off.
Jimmy and Sue both said "Don’t worry Old Joe, we’ll find the animals for you"
"Thank you" said Old Joe.
So Jimmy and Sue set off straight away. There was no sign of the animals, but then they heard a noise and it sounded like the animals.
They went around a corner and found them all munching on grass.
The children led the animals back to the farm and handed them to a happy Old Joe.
