Dominic and the monster

After a very hard climb, he finally reached the top. He pulled himself up, took a deep breath and looked around. Could it really be what he thought he had seen ?
About 4 metres away from where he sat was a monster. The boy nearly jumped out of his skin because he was so frightened. He ran straight home. His mum was not in. No one was in the house except for him.
The boys name was Dominic. He was twelve years old. He did not know why no one was in because everytime his mum went out she would tell him.
The boy went back into the garden, but then he remembered that there was a monster on the wall. He closed his eyes, then opened them and there was the monster. The monster was kind and could talk. It said, "Be my friend"
"Yes" said Dominic
So they both began to play some games. The monster said "I’m only a baby. Look I can make myself go really small" and the monster squeezed up.
"I can keep you forever then" said Dominic
That night Dominic said to the monster "Disguise yourself. Pretend to be a teddy bear"
"Ok" said the monster
So when Dominics mum came back she said "Why is there a teddy bear in our house ?"
"I bought him from the shop today. I thought he was cute" said Dominic
His mum said "I didn’t think you liked teddies ?"
Dominic said "I don’t. I just liked this one"
"Sorry" said mum, but Dominic did not hear her. He ran upstairs to play with his teddy bear.
