The Beast

Jane and Jack were going on holiday for 3 weeks. As they sat down on the plane, they started to think of all the exciting adventures they would have, and how exciting it would be. This was the first time they had been on holiday. As they plane went up Jack shouted, "We’re going up!". The aeroplane went tremendously high.
When they arrived at the Island, they looked around in amazement. It was so hot there that half of the people fainted, and had to be taken to the doctors. The island had no name, but people called it horror island, because strange things went on, but Jack or Jane had never been there before and neither had their mum and dad. So they didn’t believe anything people said.
As they were on a tourist coach they looked out of the window and saw a cave. Jack wanted to know what lived there. Then two metres away was their hotel. The bus came to a complete stop. Then a woman said "Welcome to your hotel, have a nice time".
They went up to the hotel - it had a swimming pool, a drinks bar, a café, an ice cream stand and a resting area. They all stumbled up the steps with their huge suitcases. When they reached their room, they all sat down on the bed.
"Mum" said Jane
"What" replied Mum
"Can we go and play ?" asked Jane
"Yes" said her mum
"But be back by two o’clock" said dad.
They both ran towards the doorway.
When they reached the cave they started to climb up the huge cliff. Jack almost fell, They finally reached the top where the cave rested in the hollow part of the cliff. They tip-toed into the cave, there on the cave floor lay a huge beast with long fangs. That meant the hotel was in danger if the beast found out about the hotel.
Jane stepped on a twig. The beast awoke, it started to approach them. Jane’s eyes filled with fear. They started to back away. The beast let out a huge roar, its fur on its neck stood on end. They looked down for somewhere to escape.
"Jump !" shouted Jack. They closed their eyes and took a giant leap. The beast had often lost his food, but this time he wasn’t letting it get away……….. The beast jumped too and chased after them. Jane and Jack were limping as fast as they could.
They limped all the way back to the hotel.
"Mum, Dad" shouted Jane.
"Come quick" shouted Jack.
The family ran out to the outside of their room, there was nothing there. They went back into their room, but what they didn’t know was that the beast had slipped into their room. They sat back down when………..
the beast was looming over them licking its lips. They quickly jumped for the door. It was locked and the beast was getting nearer and nearer and………………
that was the end for them.
