Newsletter Thursday, 13th December 2001
Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you for all your support during our Christmas performances. As
usual you were a terrific and responsive audience.
Would you kindly make a note of the following arrangements for next week:
Monday Junior party letter being sent by Miss
Low tomorrow.
Tuesday Infant/Nursery party letter being sent by staff
tomorrow.
Wednesday :
Non-Uniform Day All children to pay 50p to attend school in
their most Christmassy outfits. A prize to a winner in each class
and
nursery!
Christmas Sale- We will finish school at 3.00pm next Wednesday and open
the sale straight away. Please send cakes etc in the morning to the
hall. We will be having a toy stall, a fancy goods, cake stall (biggest
ever please!!), tombola, raffle and others depending on what we receive.
So please have a look in your cupboards and attics for things we can sell.
All money raised for Southwold School fund.
Thursday
9.30 am Achievement Assembly with some carol singing
This is the occasion when we recognise achievement and present prizes to
two children in each class and nursery who have made excellent progress
or who have behaved wonderfully. Please do come and join us.
Friday
If you have bought your copy of Tons of Fun then you will know that
Ellen Hobday, Class 6 teacher and Jacqui Powell, in the Nursery, will be
leaving us next week.
We will be saying a little Goodbye to them at 10.00 am in the hall
next
Friday, 21st December. By the way at 3.25 pm on that day it will be the
END OF TERM!!
We start back after the holidays on Monday 7th January.
Milk for Infant children
If you wish your child to have milk on the first day back in January
please make sure you have paid your milk money (£4 for the term) before
Christmas.
Sponsor money
Could parents please send in any outstanding Sponsored Christmas Read
money before the end of term.
