Dear Parents/Carers,

Our two parents’ Evenings were very well supported. Thank you for coming in to discuss your child’s targets. If you would like any more information about helping your child with homework, please get in touch with us.

If you haven’t yet met with your child’s class teacher, please contact your child’s class teacher before half term to make an appointment.

School Photographer
The school photographer has been contacted about the family photos that are missing. A family photo session has been arranged for Friday, 8th November at 9am and again at 1pm for afternoon children.

Please let us have orders for class photos and individual photos by Wednesday, 6th November.

Midday Supervisors
We have a vacancy for a midday supervisor and a vacancy for a relief midday supervisor. If you would like to join our lunchtime team, please contact Ms Low for an application form.

Parent helpers
Thank you to all the parents who are presently assisting us in school. It’s terrific to have the extra help. Please get in touch if you would like to help us.

Good News
Congratulations to our Year 5/Year 6 team who took part in the Mini-Olympics at John Carroll Leisure Centre this week. For the first time ever, Southwold won the tournament. We also came first in two individual events; the swimming and the athletics.

Well done to Sophie, Carl, Nicole, Philip, Briony, Sam, Charlie, Luke, Dominic, Tia, Jamie, Paige. You performed brilliantly; your behaviour was excellent! Just what we expect from Southwold children.

Year 6 Transfer
Would parents of Year 6 please complete your secondary school preference form and send in to us as soon as possible.

Harvest
We invite parents and carers to join us at our Harvest Festival at 2.30pm on Thursday, 24th October in the School Hall.
