Newsletter – Thursday, 18th July 2002

Dear Parents and Carers,

This is our final newsletter this term and at the end of the school year.

Firstly, a big thank you for all your support for school events and our work this term and year.

It’s good news about Mrs Price who came in to see us this week. She is much better and nearly fully recovered from her infection and looking forward to being back in September.

Best wishes for every success in the future to our Year 6 Leavers, 25 children leave us this term to go onto Secondary School. Year 6 are invited to a Leavers’ Barbecue today 4.00 – 5.30 pm!

They will do a short presentation at 2pm tomorrow (Year 6 Parents are very welcome too).

Also tomorrow, we say goodbye for a while to Mrs Conway who goes on maternity leave. We wish her good health and happiness and we hope to see Mrs Conway and Mrs Walsh when they visit us next term.

The children will finish school for the summer holidays tomorrow at 3.25pm.

Can I ask all parents and friends to help with Neighbourhood Watch over the school site during the summer holiday. Please help us by reporting any suspicious occurrences to the Police.

The new school term starts on Wednesday, 4th September. We look forward to seeing you then.

We wish everyone a happy, healthy summer.

Best wishes,

Pauline Low
Acting Head Teacher.
