Dear Parents/Carers,

First of all a big thank you to all of you who supported the school in raising money for Comic Relief. If you have any more sponsorship money to send in please do so. We intend to announce an overall figure raised next Friday.

Ofsted

Last week Governors were informed that on the week beginning Tuesday 6 May the school will undergo an Ofsted Inspection. Obviously this will be
a very important week for all of us at Southwold.

As part of the Ofsted process the Registered Inspector (the person leading the team of inspectors) will ask parents to fill out a short questionnaire about what they think aspects of school life. She has also arranged a meeting for parents to meet and discuss with her on Thursday 3 April at 2.45pm. The meeting will finish in time to collect children. You will receive an official invitation next week.

Please do come to that meeting and tell the inspector about our children and our school.

Parent / Child Maths Workshop

On Thursday 1 April we invite children and parents to our Maths Workshop. Come and visit all the classes in school and see what sort of activities and work your children experience. More details next week.

Inset

There will be an Inset Day on the last day of term Friday 11 April.
