We are now a thirty nine place inner city foundation stage unit with one nursery teacher and two nursery nurses, one post being a job share and the other full time.
Our unit has two large rooms and two smaller. One large room, the "Rainbow" room, has possibly a more late foundation stage focus, whilst the other large room, the "Adventure" room, is focussed more on the early and mid foundation stage.
The two smaller rooms, the "Discovery" rooms, cover a range of activities including, sand and water play, design and technology, science exploration etc. All the rooms however are available to and visited by all the children and accessed at their individual stage of development during the majority of their school day.
