£174 million pounds has been raised so far by Comic Relief.
	Comedians set up Comic Relief. Comic Relief wants to tackle root causes of poverty. 2050 comedians have helped Comic Relief. Red nose day is a UK-wide fundraising event.
Red nose day happens every two years. People are encouraged to cast off inhibitions and be very silly.
