Poems by the Yr 4 children
The Sun shines lovely
Yellow and round in the sky
It looks down on us
James Atkinson
Shark
It lies down in the dark
Oh no it might be a shark
It swims in the sea
But I hope it does not catch me
The shark is very viscious
But it thinks I am delicious
It can give you a fright
If it gives you a bite
William Hills
Fat Cat
There was a boy named John
Who had a brother named Ron
They sat on a mat
With their Fat Cat
And then their cat was gone
William Hills
Tiger
There once was a tiger
In the wild mild jungle
The tiger was wild
He ate every child
Children were his treasure
He ate them with pleasure
He is clumsy and sometimes in the jungle
He ends up in abundle
If you spit and he saw
He would come with a humourless roar
Tilly Goffe
Haiku
My dogs name is Ben
I never saw it again
It ran away then

Yr 1 and Yr 2 Technology work

We made a carousel and a dragon
We have been busy building Design and technology Models following our school
trip to Nottingham Castle Museum
As we were all dissapointed with the stately home now sited on the original
castle - we thought we would make our own proper castle !

Note the working drawbridge, the many towers, and the people living inside
the castle !!
