Archery: Computer Files

NB - at present, where applicable, these files only contain Recurve (Olympic) archery data and some files are UK specific. Some files are not yet available (n/avail.), but you may modify one of the available files to suit your purpose.

I have a number of files in the following formats for use in Archery:- PC: Excel (v.3 to 5); Psion 3a/Acorn PocketBook II: Abacus/Sheet; Acorn: Eureka (v3.0).

I use a Psion 3a/Acorn PocketBook II to record my scores during practice/competition. These scorecard files also work out number of hits, number of 'golds' (tens or nines as appropriate to round), end totals, running totals, grand totals, etc..

Other files are used to keep record of highest scores, GNAS/FITA classifications, etc. Yet others are used to keep National and International Records.

The Excel and Eureka files for your records can also work out scores you should obtain, based upon averages for distances (you enter these). They also show number of arrows shot at which distances for a round and hold the current GNAS/FITA British classifications.

N.B. Acorn : the 'Archived' files may contain two Eureka files: one Imperial (British) and one Metric (FITA) file. They require 'ArcFS 2' or compatible programme to open them. When downloaded rename the file (remove the /eur) and set the filetype to EurSheet.

NB. General : further, Classification files all have same filenames irrespective of age, therefore do not download more than one without renaming the downloaded file or placing them in separate directories.

N.B. some Spreadsheet programmes do not have the necessary functions required for the Scorecard files.

N.B. where files are available in CSV format (for use in any suitable programme) any functions/formulae used in the original do not operate.
