FOCUS WEEK MAY 2001
After a week of Sats, the whole school had a break from the National Curriculum and spent five days investigating the environment. It was a tremendously valuable week, and we all learned a lot. We got a lot done, and the beautiful weather certainly helped. We explored nearby Chantry Park and Stonelodge Park, and some of us flew kites we'd made there. We used the work of the artist Andy Goldsworthy to inspire us in our own artwork. We had a visit from Ipswich Park Ranger Fiona. Among other things, she got us all to be a tree! The week finished with a great balloon race.
