Security We work hard to ensure that, as a school, we are welcoming to parents and are anxious to meet with you whenever you feel there is an issue you would like to discuss. We do however need to balance open access into school with the need to be vigilant and security conscious. All parents would agree that keeping the children safe in school has to be our number one priority and for this reason we ask all visitors to check in at the office before coming into school. Please do not expect to be able to wander into the corridors. This is for your child's safety. To help the situation, we have changed our system for dismissing the Yr 3/4 children, at the end of the day, so that they come out promptly at 3.20 p.m. We hope Sponsorship Success Thank you to all those who kindly sponsored the abseiling event at the Ipswich Hospital. We raised £420 in total, which will be divided between both the Junior and Infant School. New Computers We have recently taken delivery of three new computers which will give us nine in the computer room so that children will be less crushed when using the computers. Events The Christmas Fair is on Friday 23rd November. Reminders and Information The school shop is open Wednesday lunchtimes at 12.20 in Class 1. It sells: Handwriting Pens 30p Pencils 10p Rulers 30p Erasers 10p Sharpeners 30p Plastic Wallets 60p Glue Sticks 50p Wallet Folders 20p Note Pads 20p Gel & Other Pens 40p Line Guides & 100 Squares 10p Cakes are on sale every Thursday breaktime at 10p each. We do have a certain amount of second-hand uniform available. Please ask at the school office if you are interested. We operate a school savings scheme, which you can use to save for school trips and any other school expenditure. Savings cards are available from the office. You might like to consider starting this now, if your child is Yr 6, to pay for the Year 6 Activities in the summer term. All the children have been given a pencil, ruler etc. for class. Please make sure that they have the necessary equipment for class. Dinner Money should be paid on a Monday and is £1.35 Please use the new system we have started for sending money into school.
