Prof. Noah's Spaceship.

All Primary and Special Schools in the Stanley area were invited by Tanfield Infant School to submit designs for spaceships to take things they thought were worth saving for the next century.

We submitted designs and the Year 2 children worked with community artists for a whole day to create these large models of what they thought was worth saving.

Plants, trees and flowers are very important. These girls made a large plant pot in which 4 children could stand.
The children thought that Toucans were worth saving as they are under threat from hunters.
Caterpillars were saved because they grow into such beautiful butterflies.
