Playground Improvements.

We have big plans for our playground and one of our plans came true during the Summer term of 1998.

We used the money from the balloon race in 1997 to build a quiet seating area in our playground. Mr. Halliburton asked for some parent helpers and we waited for the weather forecast to be good!
	The first job was to lift off the grass.
	The grass was then used to patch up some bald spots around the climbing toys.
	It was very hard work digging the foundations for the patio.
	Once the foundations were layed and made level the blocks were layed. The children and staff think it looks great!
	Now the seats have been layed it is ready for use ..... shhhh!, it's a quiet area!
