Tawny Owl. Name: Marma

Also known as the Wood Owl because they live in woods and forrests. Some have moved to towns and cities where they kill and eat small birds called starlings using the sharp claws called tallons on their feet.

In the woods, Tawny Owls prefer to catch and eat mice, voles, frogs and small birds.

When they eat, they eat everything, but later they cough up pellets made from all of the bits of the animal they could not digest.

The Tawny Owl has big eyes which let it see well in the dark. This is why they choose to hunt at night and sleep during the day.
