Dear Parent,

P.S.C. NEWS

Next committee meeting is on Monday 7 July at 7-45pm.

P.S.C. SUMMER FAYRE – 2pm Saturday 12 July

This annual event will soon be upon us.  As always your support is vital to the success of the fair.  Please remember to return the raffle tickets, sold or unsold.  I will be hosting the Squirt Fest so remember to bring your water pistols and a change of clothes.  You can help by:

Contributing goods for the stall e.g. toys, toiletries, tins, books, videos, DVD’s etc

Volunteer to run a stall – please let me know.

Send in a bottle (it does not have to be a Bolly, H.P. Sauce will do).  Please do not send in glass bottles with the children.

Encourage Y5 and Y6 pupils to run a game or stall – no more than three pupils to a stall.  The children who raise the most money will win a great prize.

Bake a cake.

P.S.C. MUFTI DAY

Thank you so much for sending in the gifts today in lieu of cost payment for the mufti day.  Please buy back the gifts at the Summer Fayre. (What a cheek!)

Y6 RESIDENTIAL TRIP

Wish Y6 well as they go on their trip next week.  We will be visiting Cadbury World, Chester, an adventure trail, Rhyl Sun Centre, the Imperial War Museum of the North, Helsby Hill, Man UTD F.C. and Drayton Manor Park.  I will be leading the visit so please contact Mrs. Everington if you have any pressing problems. We return at 7pm on Friday 4 July.

Y6 DATES

I typed the days for the following events in error but the dates were correct. Confirmation practice at St Edward’s church is at 6pm on TUESDAY 8 July and the actual service is at 7-30pm on WEDNESDAY 9 July. Apologies for any confusion caused.

TESCO AND SAINSBURY VOUCHERS

Thank you so much for sending in these vouchers. You sent in 11,800 Sainsbury vouchers and 12,600 Tesco vouchers.  These will be exchanged for art materials and sports equipment.

CANADA DAY JULY 1.

Please remember the McClean family in your prayers who emigrated recently to Canada. Children are allowed to wear maple leaves in their hair on this day.
