PARENTS SOCIAL COMMITTEE [Next meeting is at 7.45pm on Tuesday 15 December]

• CHRISTMAS FAYRE –2pm Saturday 28 November 
  
  Father Christmas has been booked for the afternoon and he is looking forward to meeting the children.  Please help make this event another great success by:

• Coming along.
• Selling or returning the raffle tickets,
• Encouraging the Y5/6 pupils to organise games/stalls.  The children who raise the most money will win a prize (up to four children per stall).  Please bring extension cables if the children require electricity.
• Send in donations for stalls – toys, tins, toiletries, books, videos, bottles (please do not send glass bottles in with the children).  It would be really great if the reception parents could bring in a bottle wrapped in Christmas paper, e.g. a sauce bottle, piccalilli jar or some bolly.

• P.S.C. CALENDARS FOR SALE 
  
  These are now ready for sale at £6 each.  They are really good.  Every class has contributed and each child has drawn their face as part of a class group.  Each class has two months except Y5 and Y6 who have one month each.  Important school dates have been printed on the calendar.  They would make lovely presents for grandparents and other family members.

If you would like to purchase a calendar please complete and return the reply slip below with the payment.  Cheques to be made payable to ‘St. Thomas More School P.S.C.’.  ONE OF THE CALENDARS IS ON DISPLAY OUTSIDE THE OFFICE.

• TEMPEST PHOTOGRAPHY 
  
  This company will be at the Christmas Fayre.  If you would like to have your photographs taken in a contemporary style please complete and return the reply slip below to me to book a time slot or alternatively just come along on the day.  Premier package is £25 which includes one large, two medium and four desk photographs.
• BAGS 2 SCHOOL 
  
  Thank you for supporting this - £160 was raised.
  
• Thank you so much for the chocolate bars you sent in last week for the Christmas Fayre.  Your generosity is overwhelming as always.

SCHOOL NEWS 

• Well done to the Y1 – Y4 Football squad who won a local tournament on 8 November.
• Y6 CONFIRMATION – 7.30pm Wednesday 14 July at St. Edward’s church.
• Y5/6 FOOTBALL CLUB  This will not be held on Tuesday 24 November as the team will be playing in a tournament.
• CAROL CONCERT 6 to 6-30 pm Thursday 17 December in St Edward’s church. ALL WELCOME.
• Rosie in Y3 has lost her swatch watch which she received for her recent birthday. It has a red strap . Please see me if you find it.

REMINDER – INFANTS CHRISTMAS CONCERT 

Wednesday 9 December at 1.45pm and 6pm.  Adult places are limited to two per performance.  The evening session is always more popular.  We can be flexible if you require more places – please see me.
