On my first day at school we went into the hall and the teachers told us what class we were in. I was in Mrs Ng’s class. We went into school and had to draw our family. We also made up a poem. We had lunch and we played at playtime and then we did PE.

On my first day at school my teacher was very kind and she made me feel very welcome. I made loads of friends of all ages. I enjoyed my first day at school in fact; I’ve enjoyed every day that I’ve been at St, Peter’s School.

My first day at school was fun. I made friends easily because they were kind and helpful and the teachers were jolly. On the other hand it was quite strange to start with.

On my first day at school I was nervous, but the minute I got there I knew there was nothing to be nervous about. The school looked comforting and the teachers were kind and welcoming. I had no trouble settling in at all.

Emily Age 11

When I first came to St. Peter’s School I felt really scared! I can’t remember much because it was 3 years ago, but I can remember a few things. In the playground there were lots of year 3 mums including mine. All my classmates were talking about their summer holidays. I can remember my first teacher , Mrs Cox, taking me and a few friends to show us where the library was and where certain book colours were kept. I also remember tripping over on the field and hitting my head and that’s about all I can remember.
