At St. Andrew's positive behaviour is promoted through
rewarding children with 'Gold Dust' stickers.
The children store these stickers on a laminated badge which they wear clipped to their clothes.
At the beginning of the Autumn term every child is issued with a red badge and once they have received 10 'Gold Dust' stickers on their badge, they progress to the next level.
There are 7 levels in the reward system which are based on the colours of the rainbow:
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Indigo
Violet
When a child completes a level they are congratulated at a special monthly assembly where they recieve a certificate and their name is added to the 'Rainbow Display'.
At the end of the Summer term all children who have completed all levels of the reward system are invited out for a special 'Rainbow Day' trip.
