Here are some thoughts and pictures about being in Primary 4/5.

Maggie’s Hoosie

My class went on a school trip to Maggie’s Hoosie.  First we went over the line then we went to Maggie Hoosie. When we got there we had to wait for 20 minutes before we got in.  When we were waiting we drew a picture of   Maggie’s Hoosie.

MAGGIE’S HOOSIE

This is a picture of the baby’s room. There were baskets in it with lines for fishing. Maggie was a fishwife. She died when she was 83.

This is us at Maggie’s Hoosie waiting to get in. When we were waiting we did drawings of it. We had to wait because there was already a group inside.

Maggie’s  Hoosie

This is my class drawing a picture of Maggie’s Hoosie. We were waiting outside for our turn to go inside.  The inside of the house is dark. I would not like to sleep in their bed because the door was closed. The house was very small.

Maggie’s Hoosie

Here are plates on a dish rack. They look expensive. I think they come from China. My mum has the same type of plates. I smashed three of my mum’s plates. She was mad at me.

            Maggie’s Hoosie

My class and I went to visit Maggie’s Hoosie in Inverallochy. We walked over the line. When we got there we had to wait 20 minutes before we got in. Up at the top of the picture there are the drift nets they would have used to catch herring. They would have had corks at the top to keep the top of the net afloat. There would have been small weights at the bottom of the net to make sure the net would stay under the sea. Can you spot anything funny about the picture?
