HEALTH & SAFETY

We have many rules in the school that are there for our safety. We try to help the younger ones learn to keep themselves safe around school, e.g. WALKING in the corridor, keeping walkways and exits clear. The teachers help us towards being independent and responsible for others and ourselves.   First Aider - Mrs E Laird
The playground assistants are Mrs J Bruce, Mrs M Dunbar, Mrs K Buchan, Mrs L    Murray and Mrs N Robertson. They help by patrolling the playground for bullies, who may hurt other people.

Fire Drill: - We do termly fire drills. Everybody stands in a line outside and the teacher checks that everyone is out of the building by calling the register. Mrs Laird and Mr Watt close all the doors before they leave the building.

ANIMALS IN SCHOOL

The head teacher has to arrange for removal if an animal goes into the playground. it is strongly recommended not to let animals into the school.
