Tesco
Vouchers
Our
Tesco Voucher scheme has got off to a slow start this term. It was suggested
that an explanation of how the scheme works would be of benefit.
The vouchers
which are sold in units of £10 or £20 can be purchased from school and
can be used, once purchased, like a gift voucher to buy items and goods
from any Tesco Store or petrol filling station, any change given is
in cash. For every £100 worth of vouchers the school sells we get £4
(4%). I appreciate many parents use credit cards or shop 'on-line"
nowadays, but if you shop using cheques or with cash it would be appreciated
if you would buy our vouchers as it can be an excellent way to raise
funds to help supplement our budget.
Vouchers
can be purchased at any time during the school day or after school from
Sally Jones in the school foyer. Vouchers can be purchased by cash or
cheque made payable to "St.David's School Voucher Account".
Parking Outside School
Please could parents who drop off and collect
children at school by car ensure that the bus lay-by
(and the entrance and exit to it) are kept clear at the start and end
of day.
This
is not only to help the bus driver but to also to ensure the safety
of children getting on and off the bus.
Autumn
Jumble Sale
Our Autumn Jumble Sale made a grand total of £130.
Many thanks must once again go to Sally Jones and her loyal band of
helpers for all their hard work in organising this event. Well done
to all concerned and thank you.
