Staff
give time, effort and planning to help students experience their subjects
outside the classroom and outside the campus. The school has close
links with the Bardic Theatre Company and Donaghmore Heritage Centre.
In all subjects, competition is encouraged and the volunteer method is
universal.
Our own pupils have at least
one opportunity each year for stage experience and public performance,
often more than one.
The Traditional Choir represented
Northern Ireland in the National Youth Festival Of Music in London and
are current Oireachteas champions. They hold 34 All-Ireland awards
in 11 years. They came runner-up in Royal National Mod in Inverness 1997.
The Senior choir has participated in the Sainsbury competition and the
UTV Choir of the year.
