STAFF CHANGES - THIS TERM AND THE NEXT!

We have seen some staff changes this term and another one is planned for January 1999.  In September we welcomed Sue Hughes and Gill Noble as temporary classroom assistants.  From half term we have been delighted to welcome back Stephanie Sanderson after the birth of daughter Ellie, Stephanie is working on a Monday and Tuesday with Mary Gaskin teaching class 2 on the remaining three days.  In January we will welcome to St Margaret's Mr Darren Hollis who will be teaching class 1, Mr Hollis is currently teaching at All Saints Church of England Primary School in Newmarket.  We will be very sorry to say goodbye at the end of this term to Mrs Paula Taylor, Mrs Taylor has been with us since March when Mrs Sanderson went on maternity leave in that time she has taught class 1 and class 5, we are very grateful indeed for all that Mrs Taylor has done since she has been with us.

Class 2 showing us the correct way to clean our teeth - part of the work they did when studying the body

Friday, 13th November saw classes 5 and 6 have a great disco with Double D.  The PTA organised the disco.  When the children walked in they saw lights, lasers and heard great songs from pop singers like, B witcher, Billy, Back Street Boys and Steps.  later there was food - oranges, mars bars and crisps, and tango and pepsi to drink.  Most people had easy dance moves like jumping, running and walking, some people had made up dance moves.  Everyone had a great time.  It was brilliant.  Thanks PTA

Up, up and away . . . . . .

We joined with other schools across the Town to let off balloons to celebrate the forthcoming millennium and the granting of the Town's charter eight hundred years ago.
