It is a pleasure to have this opportunity to introduce you to St Peter's Junior School.Our school educates boys and girls between 7 and 11 years of age and includes a Specialist Learning Centre.
The school enjoys a prime town centre site yet has a very large playground with several special activity and quiet areas. Our classrooms are spacious, bright and attractive and in addition our facilities include a modern ICT suite; and recently equipped dance and drama studio.
St Peter's is a warm and welcoming school, very concerned with the welfare and pastoral care of its pupils. The staff endeavour to bring out the best in each child and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour. The staff support a wide range of extra-curricular activities which range from netball and Kwik Cricket to recorder playing and art clubs.
The partnership between pupils, parents, staff and governors is ever-strengthening and we applaud the active role which many parents play in the life of our school.
