NEWS AND EVENTS
We are very pleased and proud to announce that we have just been awarded the "Activemark 2006" in recognition of our exceptional delivery of the National School Sports Strategy. The logo will be added to our website and letterheads, along with our Healthy Schools' Award, as soon as we receive it!
Our school hall has been magnificently upgraded with a new multi-media system. Thanks to Friends of St. Peter's for their hard work.
The new focus for the Friends of St Peter's is to fund raise to upgrade our library facilities. This has involved a huge trawl through our existing books and weeding out those which have dated and will include the installation of a computerised system.
We then turn our attention to our ICT suite which is also in line to be upgraded and improved.
Our Building work continues! Work is happening on the scaffolding but there are some hold ups due to additional essential building work being discovered. All the work has been approved by the Listed Buildings Department and the stone washing has been finished. The re-pointing and painting programme is almost complete. We hope the scaffolding can go soon!
The next big event to look out for is our Annual Sponsored Swim, which takes place on Saturday March 10th at the Leisure Centre. Please see our newsletter for details!
