Congratulations to the Mathematics students of St Pius X who were successful in the 1999 "Mathematiques Sans Frontieres" Competition. The 29 students from Mr O'Neills GCSE exam class were placed third overall and top placed Secondary School, Intermediate level in the North Eastern Board.
This was a great achievement considering the competition included both Grammar and Secondary Schools from the North Eastern Board area.
The competition is in its tenth year and is held in many European countries.
