My name is Stephanie O'Neill. I am in my third year at Saint Pius X High School in Magherafelt in N.Ireland. Recently I attended a trip to Romania for a skiing holiday.
There was a group of twenty-one including two teachers Mr Convery and Mrs O'Brien. We stayed in a resort called Poiana Brasov and in a hotel called Bradul. We had twelve two hour ski lessons in the space of a week which gave us four hours a day.
Although I had three lessons at Craigavon dry ski slopes I found difficulty in my turning, but I had a great instructor called Etelka who had a lot of patience, I couldn't say that for the boys in the group! I stuck at my turning and at the end of the week I got a certificate saying I was capable of the basic swing. The night life wasn't great. We went to the "Sing Sing" for the first few nights but it soon got boring so we went to the disco in our hotel.
I had a fantastic week, the time flew and I'm definately going back next year!

My name is Jolene Murphy and I go to Saint Pius X high school. On the 4th of February I went on a skiing trip with the school. There was about 20 people and two teachers and they were Mrs O'Brien and Mr Convery.
We left on the Sunday morning at 11.00. we arived in Romania at about 6.00. When we landed at the airport all I could see around me was young children and men dressed in soldiers uniforms. We where heading towords the bus and all the children where taking our bags of us and putting them on the buses. Then they were asking us for money.
It took us about 4 hours to get to our hotel. By that time it was about 11:00. We got to our hotel, it took us at least half an hour to get our rooms. Then we went to bed. The next day we had to get up at 8.00am to get our skis and things. Then we went skiing, our ski instructor was called Sarine.
That night we went to a disco called the sing-sing, but after a few nights it got boring, so we went to a disco in our own hotel. We met with a wedding crowd from Derry and they really made the trip good crack. On our last night we were ment to go to the sing-sing but it was too dear so we went our hotel, we stayed there untill 12.30 and went up to our rooms because we had to get up at 2.00 for breakfast to go home. This was one of my best holidays ever and I will be going back next year for sure.
