The house is owned by Edmond Kruszynski, who is permanently resident there, and is built on a site occupied since the 11th century. It was built in the 16th century and has been much restored. A recent project has been the renovation of the roof with coloured tiles typical of Burgundy. Further projects continue.

The house is surrounded by a moat crossed by a working drawbridge. This has been converted to work electronically via a remote control.

Another view of the drawbridge entrance to the house.

A swimming pool has been built in the 'clos' to the rear. This area also has grazing land for sheep and a small, developing vineyard.

The drawbridge looked very different at the beginning of the 20th century, as shown by this old photograph. It was also a working farm at that time.

The house also looked very different. Compare this photograph with the recent photograph of the house at the top of the page.
