The Chairman of the Excellence Cluster presents us with our Leading Aspect Award. We are the first school in the Borough to get this award, and says that our “Target Setting Strategies” are amongst the best in the country.
Mrs. Thomas, our ICT Technician of many years, has left.
She will be missed by all the staff and pupils but especially by me.
A true friend, selfless, keen to learn and tremendously hard-working,
she would often slave away at home, weekends and late into the night
for the benefit of the school and staff.
Enjoy your new job and DON’T do extra work unless you get paid for it (that’s me with my NUT rep hat on)!!!

This lucky girl won first prize in our recent “Design A Door” competition for the school library / Community room.
Her winning design was a collage of pictures made up from favourite children’s books. What better prize than some colouring pens to replace all the ones she wore out doing her design in the first place!!
