- Travel Expenses cheques for previous meetings had been sent to members by N Conlin.  Claim forms for this meeting were issued to be forwarded to N Conlin by JM.

Structure and Balance of the Curriculum
Draft was discussed and amended.  Option 2 was the preferred option.
A-M Stewart to complete and forward to SCCC.

Improving our Schools
Draft responses were discussed and amended.  J Mauchline to complete and forward to SOEID.

Future consultations
The Executive Committee would respond to generic reports/documents but reports dealing with discrete curricular areas would be too many for the committee' response.  It was essential that the Committee had time to respond and so the decision was taken that in future a small group would respond, on behalf of the committee, to consultations.

The Committee expressed thanks to sub-groups which had produced draft responses.

Conference
D McVean had expressed concern re lack of information.  J Ward would contact her after this meeting with details for flyer.  T Ashton would also be sent details for website,

J Mauchline confirmed the following speakers: Bill Clarke, Michael O'Neill, John Cassidy/Frances Colgan, Sue Ellis, Eleanor             .  (Sam Galbraith has now confirmed).  T Doherty would approach someone from North Lanarkshire regarding Supported Study.  J Mauchline to continue efforts to book gender speaker.

T Doherty willing to organise marketing and publicity.

T Ashton suggested that for the next conference we look at the geographical distribution of speakers.  Conference group needed to meet again and this was arranged.  After dinner speaker had yet to be organised.
