Wendy Alexander, Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning, has outlined a vision of a new national careers organisation offering an all age guidance service. The Scottish Executive has published Careers Scotland - the way forward (click to download) as a response to the recent consultation on careers services.

Two reports (one for p[rimary and one for secondary) showing in detail the level of activity in education for work and enterprise.  These reports are based on a national sample of state schools and provide a valuable baseline for both local areas and for future national surveys. It is the intention to repeat the survey
annually.
