Bury town centre is at the heart of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury and boasts a superb range of shopping facilities focused on the Millgate Centre, one of the areas you can visit on this walk. The Millgate Centre provides a modern convenient environment with all the well-known high street chain stores.

Take time to visit the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, the Noor ul Islam Mosque, look inside Bury's Fire Station or Police Station and don't miss the developments at the dig in Castlecroft, where a part of Bury Castle being unearthed.
