Other Work

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole time and I thought it was very exciting. We found out that there are a lot of changes in all of the plants. Some plants bloom in winter and some plants bloom in summer. I found a lot of new plants like Ragged Robin and Hart's Tongue Fern. I also enjoyed it when we went down to the nature garden and saw all of the creatures.

I really enjoyed this project for the reason of going out into the fresh air and studying a plant. I chose meadowsweet. I found this project really interesting and educational. I learnt that some plants last longer than others and I learnt what shapes the leaves of the oak and the ash have. If I had any chance of doing this project, I would happily do it again.

I think this project was amazing because it was very interesting and because I have remembered everything I've been told. I was the only one who had to wait until the last trip to fin out what my flower was - it was Cow Parsley. I wish we could go down again because it was just amazing. I could go down the nature garden again and again without getting bored because it changes every time you go down. I wish I could have my own nature garden because it would be a very good thing to have. I would also like a pond because you could have fish and tadpoles in the water.

Damien with Cow Pars

During the last four months I have learned a great deal about nature. I thought that it was very interesting about the oak, because it has changed very much. Some of the colour had changed and the size of the leaves had changed a great deal. Some flowers live longer than others. I enjoyed studying the oak tree and I enjoyed going down the nature garden to look at the plants. I particularly enjoyed having a plant to study.

This project was probably my favourite because we learned so much about plants and the wildlife. Was surprised how quickly the plants in the nature garden had changed, I didn't realise how quickly plants grow. I thought they grew much slower. The Ribwort which I was studying specifically changed a lot from being dead buds in January, new shoots in March and the flowers in bloom in April and May.
