And canals .The larva remains in the water for one or two years, moulting nine times as it grows. When fully grown in the spring it crawls our onto the bark to grow in a cavity which it digs in the soft earth near the water . After two or three weeks of growing it emerges as an adult alderfly , which breeds and dies in a very short time.

  Pond  Snails.

Pond snails drag themselves along by  clambering over the rocks. Pond snails grow up to or around 1/2 inches. They stay the same size their whole  life. They grow a little larger  sometimes. They are usually brown or  tan. The most likely place you will find  a  pond snails will be  n rivers, lakes, streams  and hot springs. The pond snails  young are born like jelly cases. Pond snails  eat water plants. They have a  very hard shells which means they are  more likely to not get eaten by
Other animals.
