CHARACTERS: The main characters were Elizabeth, Luke & Clay. Mum & Dad come in at the start and at the end. I thought the characters were very convincing and I wouldn't like to be anyone of the characters.
THE PLOT: The story starts where Lizz and her family are on the way to the Zoo, but unknown to them they have missed the turn off and end up going down a deserted road that is all sand, apart from a few trees. Then they see a Theme Park called Horror Land. When they get there, they just get out of the car when it explodes, leaving them no transport home. (It doesn't matter though, because they are not going home.) The first ride they went on was the Dome slide; Lizzy and Luke go on the slides 1 and 2. Clay on 10, and 10 is the DOOM slide. The Doom slide goes on and on and on and on and on. The Last ride they went on was different because their Mum & Dad joined them. They all went on the Koffin ride. They got in coffins and the ride started, they got a little way and the lid slammed shut, nobody could hardly breath........

DESCRIPTION: I thought the descriptive writing was very convincing, the description I thought was effective was the rides and what happening to them. The descriptions were very convincing.

TONE: The tone of the book was rather terrifyingly scary. The tone changed dramatically from scary to VERY SCARY. I found the whole book very interesting and scary.

CONCLUSION: I personally found the book very interesting. I read a couple of chapters and then I could not put it down, I had to keep reading. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anybody. I would not recommend it to anybody below 9 years of age.
