This is a book about a boy called Larry Boyd who is always worrying about his hair. Larry lives in a town with a lot of children and a lot of dogs. Larry Boyd lives with his mum & dad and a cat called jasper. Every day Larry would get chased by dogs it must be because he smelt of Jasper. One day Larry and his friends found a bottle of instant tan lotion and rub it on. After a few days hair starts growing on his hands, hair that looks like it won't go away. (Is it the lotion or is it something else?) This is an interesting story. Every time I went to put the book down something interesting would happen and I would pick it back up again and carry on reading. I think that all of the characters were convincing. They were as real as most of the people I know. They look nearly the same and sound the same. I think this would be a great book for anyone over the age of 10.
