Hunter and Moon Mysteries - The Time Traveller File
Allan Frewin Jones

Beth and Hal went to a ditch where Hal's brother said he had seen a ghost. Hal and Beth go to see if they could find the ghost themselves. They saw the ghost and decided to go home, but the ghost scared Hal and Beth off their bikes. Hal thinks the ghost was a criminal on the run but Beth still thinks he's a ghost. It kept my interest and the part I found particularly good was in chapter 6. It keeps you in suspense. The characters kept my interest because you didn't know what was going to happen next. Beth and Hal were really convincing and I suppose the ghost was as well. I think the characters were believable because the way they acted in the book. The atmosphere of the book was mystical, dowdy motion that I felt. I found some parts quite scary and I felt really interested in it and I enjoyed it so much I couldn't put it down. I would recommend it because it gets your nerves going and I certainly would recommend it to other year 7 pupils.
