Welcome to Class 3

The Interactive Life Museum.

We went on a trip recently to the new Interactive Life Museum in Newcastle and had a fantastic time.  The only trouble was we weren't there long enough to see and do everything.  These are some of the things that we enjoyed.

The Vortex.

In the vortex we were very dizzy and we thought that the bridge was moving as we walked along it, but it was really the walls.

The Arcade.

The arcade had lots of different games to play. There was an excellent soccer game that involved using our energy and our mind to see where we were going to kick the ball.  There was also a musical drum and a keyboard, a computer game that we actually took part in on the screen by using a hologram and a light hitting game.

Optical Illusions

A man showed us how our brains work using models and a computer and then he showed us some optical illusions.

Crazy Motion Ride

When you go to the crazy motion ride you sit in a seat and a bar comes down infront of you.  While you watch the screen your seat moves so that it feels as if you are in the picture driving, surfing, skateboarding, bungy jumping and riding the roller coaster.  It was very realistic and people were screaming.
