On the 23rd June 2000 St Michael's were host to an Egyptian dancer called Mrs King. In the morning we watched a video of children dancing a tradional Egyptian dance. Then Mrs Hazel King danced for us and was very good.
Mrs Hazel King told us about the history of Egyptian dancing and explained that we don't know exactly how they danced thousands of years ago as the only recorded evidence is paintings of dancers on the walls of tombs.
