Adventure Playground

This is our new adventure playground. We raised the money at our school summer fair and at the After School Club. Adventure Playgrounds Limited from Norfolk built the playground.

In the winter 1999 St Michael's church of England built their first ever adventure playground, we have: Three balance beams, one small one medium and one large, we also have a bridge which is made out of rope and wood then we have a wobbly board which has only been installed for about a month. Next on the obstacles we have a slanted beam leading to the wooden foot swings, which you can either walk over or swing over, that is one of the popular items of the course.
To finish the adventure playground we have the thinnest balance beam which slants towards the ground.

The playground is very popular with all the pupils of our school, Mrs Fowles our headteacher has organised a sensible rota class one will go on the playground on Monday, class two on Tuesday etc.
The award winners on the Monday get the privilege of going on the adventure playground on the following Friday.
