CENTENARY EVENTS!!

March 4th at 7:30 p.m. Centenary Year Firework Launch
Current pupils and their families were invited to watch a short but exciting professional firework display that was viewed from the school grounds. Refreshments were available from the school hall from 7:00 p.m. and at 7:25 p.m. everyone enjoyed an 8 minute spectacular-in-the-skies marking the beginning of our centenary celebrations.

June 9th, 10th, 11th Centenary Exhibition
Members of the school  and local community,  past and present, are invited to view an exhibition of memorabilia relating to this school. If you or anyone you know has photographs, objects, old school reports or memories to share, please could you complete the form attached. The exhibition will be assembled on Saturday 4th June and all contributions are welcome. We will be advertising this more widely in the near future but please spread the word ! If you haven’t visited our facebook page yet then do join and leave a message about your memories.

July 6th Outdoor Afternoon Centenary Concert and Tea Party
The children will be entertaining parents and all members of the school and local community,  past and present, with a Sing-a-long Centenary Concert on the front yard, followed by a Tea Party and Centenary Fair.  We will be sending invitations to everyone we can think of who has past or present connections with the school but please pass this date on to anyone you know who would like to come along.

We are currently planning events throughout 2011 to celebrate the centenary of Trimdon Grange School. Details will be posted here and regularly updated. They will also appear on our facebook group page.

Any old photos, memorabilia and memories in general will be gratefully received to help with displays on the history of the school. Either contact the school or post through Facebook.
