We
are a caring family school in a small ex-mining village in County
Durham. We have one Year 1 and one Year 2 class in the Infant Department and
an Early Years unit. Our lovely old building, which has recently been
refurbished inside, gives us plenty of space for a wide range of quality
learning experiences. We also enjoy exploring the extensive hard
surface and natural areas in our grounds. We pride ourselves on the
individual care given to all our pupils in a secure and stimulating
environment.
Our mission is to work in partnership to bring out the best in every
child.
At Trimdon Grange School we
aim:
to treat every child and adult with equal respect and
understanding.
to provide an orderly and stimulating environment
conducive to effective teaching and learning.
to enable every child to be confident and independent.
to nurture children's
natural desire to learn skills, to acquire knowledge, to
investigate, to solve problems and to create.
to motivate pupils to attain the
highest possible standards in all curriculum areas.
to build a community where
parents, staff and governors seek to extend their own
learning for the benefit of all pupils.
