When you are about to overtake parked vehicle ALWAYS look out for opening doors, reverse lights on, people in the car and exhaust fumes from the exhaust pipes. You must also look over your right shoulder before giving a clear right hand turn signal and pulling out to overtake the vehicle.
If you ever approach traffic lights you should always know the sequence of them:
           Red
          Red and Amber
          Green
          Amber
          Red.

If at any time you have to get off your bike to go into a shop or something you must always carry a lock on your bike with a key in your pocket or on a keyring attached to clothing.  Thread one end of your lock around a part of the frame on your bike and thread the other end around a lamp-post or anything that cannot move!
You should never put oil on your brake blocks or the frame of the wheels because if you do, the brake blocks won’t grip the frame and you will crash!

Information signs are usually shaped like a rectangle because if they were shaped like a circle or a triangle they wouldn’t fit on enough information on them and the council will probably have to put up lots and lots of signs saying the same sentence a bit like this so that’s why information signs are rectangular.
