The members of the team have a variety of experiences of the teaching of mathematics and have taught mathematics across all the key stages. They all believe that mathematics should be an active, not a passive learning process.

The team works jointly with higher education institutions and subject associations.

The team is committed to raising teachers' confidence and equipping them with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to make the teaching of mathematics enriching and exciting to pupils of all abilities. All the training and support offered is underpinned by current good practice and the latest national developments and guidance.
